Why do I drink green juice every day?

There are so many benefits of green juice. A good high quality green juice can provide your body with a wide range of health benefits, including aiding weight loss and improving your skin. Most people don’t get enough greens in their diet. By juicing, you get a wide range of vitamins and minerals that you typically wouldn’t get. I love making my green juice recipes with spinach, cucumber, and green apples.

Skin Benefits of Green Juice

Green juices can help your skin by reducing acne and skin breakouts. You will glow from within once you start incorporating more green juices into your diet. Your skin will become less inflamed and more hydrated. I have watched individual’s eczema clear up simply by adding in green juices a few times a week. Since juices are easier to digest than solid foods, you will likely suffer less digestive issues too. All of my simple green juice recipes are also rich in antioxidants.

Spinach is also a wonderful source of calcium that your body can easily access. Simply take about a cup of spinach and juice it with a sweet potato and a decent sized apple. This is another excellent morning drink that will not only energize you, but also help protect your blood sugar levels. Try this green juice recipe with spinach today.

Blood Sugar Helper Green Juice Recipe

Easy green juice recipes made with cucumber and spinach.

This recipe might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it has beneficial effects on the body and its blood sugar levels. This is one of my mean green juice recipes made with green apple.

If you have elevated blood sugar levels, it is highly effective to the point that warnings have been issued about avoiding consuming it simultaneously with blood sugar regulation drugs. Speak to your doctor before you change any of your blood sugar medications. Bitter melon has been shown to help reduce insulin resistance and diabetes because of its awesome ability to reduce high blood sugar levels.

If you are pregnant, it is not recommended to use bitter melon. As always, speak to your personal physician before making any changes to your diet.

All you must do is take a bitter melon, a romaine lettuce heart, a large apple, half a lime, and a cucumber, and juice each of them together. This recipe should make about a cup and a half of awesome and powerful green juice. Drink it in the morning for the best results.

Sleep Well Bedtime Green Juice

If you have trouble sleeping, this might be a perfect recipe for you. Romaine lettuce is full of important trace minerals, but the thing you’ll be looking for here is lactucarium, the sap of the lettuce. It has a relaxing effect on the body and will help you rest better. Simply take about 2 celery stalks, 3 romaine hearts, half of a lemon, and a large apple. Once again, I make my juice recipes with green apples. It adds a delicious taste to any mean green juice recipe. Simply juice the vegetables, and you’ll be off to sleepy land in no time at all.

Easy Juicing Tips

If you don’t own a juicer, no problem. Simply blend all the ingredients for any of my simple green juice recipes until the mixture is smooth. Pour into glasses and serve. You don’t have to remove the fiber from your juice. The fiber helps move food through your digestive system and out of you, so it’s important that you leave some in there for this to happen. You can also blend everything up, and then pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve and enjoy. Check out my article on how to make a juice in a blender here:

How long will this juice last?

It is always best to drink the juice immediately while it’s fresh. However, you can store it for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. You will notice some slight separation of the juice. Simply stir or shake, and it’s ready to serve.
