Description
Ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, I mean come on it doesn’t get any more spicy and delicious than that. Are you ready to get festive with this gingerbread flavor smoothie?
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened plant based milk of choice (I like unsweetened almond milk).
- 1 pear, chopped
- 1 cup mixed greens
- 1/4 frozen banana
- 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 scoop plant-based protein powder
- 1/2-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon of homemade gingerbread spice mix (recipe above).
Optional: If you don’t have the ingredients for the gingerbread spice mix above, consider these spices below. They work just as well in a pinch. I ran out of my homemade gingerbread spice mixture and used these below, and it still turned out fine. So if you don’t want to fuss with making homemade spice blends, I made it easy for you.
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy.
