I created this good sleep-calm nerves golden milk recipe to calm the nerves and help get a good night sleep. My husband was suffering from nerve damage throughout his body after a war injury and this nourishing drink was just the trick to help calm the twitching from overactive nerves throughout his body. If you just want a delicious drink to help get a good night sleep or need to calm your nerves, this drink is one you simply must try.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of almond milk, unsweetened
- 1/2 tablespoon turmeric, freshly grated, or 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Pinch of saffron
- Pinch of ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated or 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder.
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom or ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
Instructions
Gently heat milk and stir in all the other ingredients except the honey and saffron. Remove from the heat and add in honey and saffron.
