Healthy & Hot Vanilla Porridge

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups dairy-free milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seed
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • Pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings

  • Slice almonds
  • Dried apricots or raisins
  • Fresh fruit, such as blueberries, bananas, or strawberries

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a small pot over low to medium heat. Mix until warm and thickened, but not boiling, about 5 minutes. Serve hot, or cool the porridge to room temperature and then chill until ready to eat.
