Calm Nerves-Good Sleep Golden Milk Recipe

I created this good sleep-calm nerves golden milk recipe to calm the nerves and help get a good night sleep. My husband was suffering from nerve damage throughout his body after a war injury and this nourishing drink was just the trick to help calm the twitching from overactive nerves throughout his body. If you just want a delicious drink to help get a good night sleep or need to calm your nerves, this drink is one you simply must try.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of almond milk unsweetened
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric freshly grated, or 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Pinch of saffron
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ginger freshly grated or 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom or ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey

Instructions
 

  • Gently heat milk and stir in all the other ingredients except the honey and saffron.  Remove from the heat and add in honey and saffron.
