Many people subscribe to the notion that you must make drastic changes and restrict your entire diet to get results. By creating manageable, consistent changes, you can improve your health. Here are my best tips to clean up your diet in only 5 weeks. A clean eating diet plan is actually easy with my simple tips.

5 Simple Ways to Clean Up Your Diet With My Easy Tips

Small, Consistent Changes in Your Diet Add Up to Significant Results!

It’s a lot easier when you make small changes daily because this is when you will see the most improvement and results. Consistency is the key to cleaning up your diet.

5 Simple Ways to Clean Up Your Diet With My Easy Tips

Here are my 5 easy ways to start implementing to see big changes with your nutrition and diet.

1. Replace Drinking Soda And Sugary Drinks

This tip is simple. Swap your regular soda and sugary drinks with a healthy alternative. Low sugar options are unsweetened coffee or green tea.

Fruit-infused waters are also tasty. Try adding slices of lemon, lime, cucumber, or oranges to plain water.

2. Limit Eating Fast Food

The items on the fast food menu are usually not beneficial for your body. You may not get the necessary fiber intake, minerals, and vitamins that your body needs to function properly. Planning ahead is the key to avoiding the fast-food cycle.

Meal prepping is great to help you on those days when you don’t have the time or energy to cook. You can batch cook a few healthy meals to store in the freezer for those days you are short on time.

I suggest preparing a more substantial portion of brown rice, a few veggies, and one or two lean proteins to mix and match during the week.

I have many wonderful recipes and tips in my Radiant Healthy Eating Guide.

3. Give Up White Bread And Grains

Consider giving up white bread and grains to more nourishing ingredients. Switch to more nutrient-rich alternatives, including quinoa, wild rice, and whole grains.

In white bread, the bran and the germ are removed and then “fortified” with additional vitamins.

It seems ironic that what nature provides is removed, and then added later in the processing plant. Stick to grains in their purest natural form, and you will be much better off.

4. Add Real Fruits And Veggies To Every Meal

Yes, I said it, every meal. There are so many fantastic ways to incorporate these into every meal.

If you are creating a smoothie, you can add raw zucchini, cauliflower, or squash. Trust me when I say your smoothie won’t taste like cauliflower.

I like to keep these vegetables pre-portioned out in the freezer to quickly add-in. A bonus is you don’t need to add ice to your smoothie, because the frozen vegetables add a creamy ice cream consistency.

Try mixing pureed vegetables into your burgers. This is another excellent way to up the nutritional content. This is another important tip to clean up your diet in 5 weeks.

5. Switch Out Your Regular Snacks For Fruits And Veggies

I don’t believe in an all-or-nothing approach to eating healthy. Sometimes you just want chips, but a few times a week, try replacing that bag of chips for an apple with nut butter.

Try switching things up by adding more fruits and veggies. Cut up carrots, celery, and cucumber slices. Try eating cut-up carrots, celery, and cucumber slices with a tablespoon or two of hummus. This is one of my favorite meal planning tips.
