Banana is one of those flavors in a dessert that you either love or absolutely hate. I love the silky smooth texture of this no-bake banana mousse dessert recipe. I have a feeling this super simple, no-cook dessert, banana whip will become your new favorite dessert obsession. It's a functional dessert designed to nourish and satisfy.

Sometimes you want a dessert but don't want to deal with the hassle of mixing, and baking, all the prep work becomes too much of a chore. I get it. That's why this simple banana dessert is perfect. I have tested a few versions and this one is the easiest, with the best flavor profile.

My other high-protein chocolate pudding recipe inspired me, but I wanted a unique flavor twist, so bam, banana pudding is where it's at right now.

The basic ingredients that you need for your banana whip mousse recipe in a blender are avocado, banana, milk, sweetener of choice, vanilla extract, and vanilla protein powder. The toppings can vary, but I love to use crumbled shortbread cookies (gluten-free of course) or shaved chocolate over top.

To make this tasty banana mousse pudding recipe, you will need to gather a few key ingredients to create the perfect quick dessert today.

1. Banana - Adds sweetness, prebiotic power, vitamins, and minerals.
2. Avocado - Why do I love avocados so much? Fiber. Avocados are a great source of fiber, higher in insoluble fiber. Increasing fiber-rich foods in your diet helps support our detoxification pathways. Want clear skin? You need to support those detox pathways in your body. This helps clear out toxins and excess hormones quicker from our body.
3. Protein Powder -  I highly recommend my E*Y*N plant-based vanilla protein powder. The vanilla adds to the depth of flavor in the recipe. Chocolate protein powder also works well if you want that chocolate banana vibe.
4. Maple Syrup - This adds just the right amount of sweetness, but feel free to swap it with your favorite sweetener of choice. See substitutions below.
5. Milk of Choice - I like unsweetened almond milk the best.
6. Vanilla Extract - Vanilla Extract - Just a dash will work. I use ½ a teaspoon and it works well.
