This green smoothie is my ultimate go-to when I want to start my day off right. It kicks those sweet cravings to the curb and provides your body with necessary protein first thing in the morning.

🥣 Ingredients Needed for the Best Green Smoothie Recipe

To make this healthy green smoothie recipe, you will simply need to gather a few key ingredients that create the best tasting vegan green smoothie of your dreams.

1. Spinach - Depending on what greens I have on hand, determines whether I use spinach or kale. Both hearty greens taste great in this recipe.
2. Pineapple - This is the perfect fruit to balance out the earthy green flavor from the spinach or kale.
3. Cucumber - This veggie adds extra hydration and is fantastic for your skin. Keeps your skin hydrated and plump looking.
4. Lemon Juice - I prefer fresh lemon juice, but you can use the bottled kind. The lemon juice also helps balance out the greens and add brightness to the smoothie.
5. Pear - The perfect neutral tasting fruit with tons of fiber and vitamins to give you energy throughout the morning.
6. Water - Of course, you need a liquid in this smoothie, so water is perfect. If you prefer more protein, add your favorite milk of choice.
