Let’s talk about the health and beauty benefits of strawberries. Strawberries are a low-sugar fruit. Strawberries are also rich in vitamin C. Therefore, they help boost collagen production. One handful of strawberries contains more vitamin C than one orange.

Ellagic acid helps stabilize blood sugar and promote healthy cells for radiance. They are also rich in manganese, which supports mitochondrial defense. Strawberries help cool the body because they help generate hydrating fluids. This is especially beneficial for strong supple skin.

Eating strawberries are also good for your eyesight. The antioxidants help fight free radicals, which help protect the eyes from damage.  The way that free radicals affect your eyes can be in the form of degeneration of optical nerves and macular degeneration. 

Strawberries are heart-healthy too. The protective properties of phytochemicals and flavonoids help to keep the cardiovascular system in good health. For instance, eating them can help with high blood pressure because strawberries contain potassium. This has been shown to help people prone to heart attacks and strokes.
