Veggies and Dip

An easy healthy gluten-free snack is simply combining veggies with your favorite type of dip. This might be bell peppers and cucumbers dipped in hummus, carrots and celery dipped in guacamole.

Love broccoli? Cut it into small pieces and bring along a healthy dip, like hummus, homemade ranch dip, or guacamole, and go to town!
There are also many types of flavored dips that kick up your snack a little, without packing on the fat or calories.

Homemade Protein Balls For a Simple, Balanced Healthy Snack Idea
If you are a fan of protein bars, but don't want the bars loaded with sugar and ingredients, you can create your own. Instead of bars, it is easier to combine the ingredients and make oat balls.
You can grab one or two for a snack when heading out the door, pack it for lunch, or enjoy it at home.
Protein balls come in different varieties with tons of recipes, but the basic recipe uses oats, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and ingredients like seeds.

Oatmeal With Toppings
If you have time to prepare a bowl of oatmeal, this can be a hearty and filling snack, which also provides you with lots of fiber and protein.
A single serving of oats is typically around 100 calories, so this is a light snack, even with your toppings.
You can add anything you like to it, including banana and peanut butter, almond butter, chocolate chips or cacao nibs, chia seeds, granola, and so much more. There are many possibilities.

⚖️ Balanced Berry Bowl - Simple Blood Sugar Support Snack
I have been super busy lately. Running my nutrition business, getting things ready for my upcoming move, creating new nutrition and healthy balanced recipes, and staying active through gentle movement.
It can be too easy to get so focused on a task. I have to remember to eat to balance my blood sugar. This is where simple, balanced healthy snacks come in.
Lately, my go-to healthy, well balanced snacks are balanced berry bowls filled with lactose-free cottage cheese, blackberries, hemp hearts, chia seeds, and walnuts. Drizzled with maple syrup for extra sweetness.
It's such a simple and nutritionally sound snack. Cottage cheese is often an underrated food, but it's loaded with protein.
Top it with any berries you love, some nuts and seeds, and BAM - you now have protein, carbs, healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidants.
